Singapore’s Micro-Mobility Startup Beam Raises Funds
Singapore based scooter-sharing startup beam has raised the $26 million funds.
As the startup it is looking forward to its operations in countries like Korea, Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Taiwan.
Sequoia India and Hana Ventures led the funding rounds, while other investors Aussie VC Right Click Capital participated. Moreover, till today the startup has raised $32.4 million.
More importantly, beam stated that its virtual docking feature allows riders to park in predetermined parking spots by offering incentives via the beam mobile app.
Meanwhile, its new third-generation e-scooter will be rolling out in the aforementioned five markets. E-scooter features swappable batteries, 25-centimetre tubeless safety tyres, and an electronic braking system.
