Twitter Rolled Out A New Feature Audio Tweets On iOS
Popular microblogging site Twitter has rolled out a new feature called audio tweets. This new feature allows users of iOS to create voice tweets.
More importantly, this new feature is now available for only a limited number of people on twitter for iOS users. It will be available for all the iOS users in the coming weeks.
The company says each voice tweet records up to 140 seconds of audio. Once the user reaches the 140 seconds of limit time for a tweet, a new voice tweet will automatically start to create a thread. Moreover, twitter does not allow users to reply to tweets with voice.
Earlier the character count limit on twitter was 140 but in 2017 the company expanded it to 280.
Additionally, twitter stated in a statement that tweeting with voice is not that different from tweeting with text.
